Abbey Brandon is a Data and Systems Analyst at the Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) in Washington, D.C.
She is the style blogger and brains behind District Dress Up. In the three years since founding District Dress Up, Abbey has posed and posted her way to nearly 50,000 monthly views and a loyal following in 150 countries and 3,800 cities. Her website has been featured in Glamour Magazine, The New York Times, Capitol File Magazine and Lucky Magazine. A regular contributor for AOL Media’s Stylist network and is a social media consultant for lifestyle brands under her company, Abbey Brandon Media.
Brandon is a 2011 graduate of Loyola University New Orleans with a B.A. in Communications and a minor in Marketing. While studying at Loyola University, she interned with Peter A. Mayer Advertising’s public relations department, working on a portfolio of accounts. She also completed a certificate program at The George Washington University on new media and political journalism. Brandon has worked with a number of organizations in Washington, D.C., including The Washington Independent, PlanetForward.org, Smithsonian Magazine and The Georgetowner Magazine, to develop online multimedia content.
